Your hosts, Blair & Mandy Austin, and Gary & Jude Christie will be working hard to ensure your stay is as pleasant, relaxing and rewarding as possible. They can assist you in planning your trip, and have strong local knowledge of many varied activities available throughout the Lake Wanaka region.

Choose from two types of accommodation:

Studio Units - Serviced, sleeps up to 2 people per unit.
Features a queen-size bed, a comprehensive kitchenette and full bathroom

Two- and Three-bedroom Apartments - Serviced, can sleep up to 5 people. Includes a full kitchen and generous living areas.

Wireless Internet is available through reception for all our guests.

The Moorings is perfectly situated. Step across the road to the edge of Lake Wanaka or take a three minute stroll to the shops, cafes and restaurants in the centre of town.

June to September is ski season. The cool slopes of Cardrona, Treble Cone, Snow Farm and Snow Park ski fields are all within 45 minutes drive of The Moorings, and Coronet Peak and The Remarkables ski fields are an hour-and-a-half's drive away.
