They can assist you in planning your trip, and have strong local knowledge of many varied activities available throughout the Lake Wanaka region.

 

Choose from two types of accommodation:

Motel Studio Units - Qualmark Four-star-plus serviced Motel units, sleeps up to 2 people per unit. Features a queen-size bed, a comprehensive kitchenette and full bathroom

Two- and Three-bedroom Apartments - Qualmark Four-star-plus serviced Apartments. Sleeps up to 5 people and includes a full kitchen and, generous living areas.

Wireless Internet is available through reception for all our guests.

The Moorings is perfectly situated. Step across the road to the edge of Lake Wanaka or take a three minute stroll to the shops, cafes and restaurants in the centre of town.

June to September is ski season. The cool slopes of Cardrona, Treble Cone, Snow Farm and Snow Park ski fields are all within 45 minutes drive of The Moorings, and Coronet Peak and The Remarkables ski fields are an hour-and-a-half's drive away.
